The right candidates
will:

• Be highly skilled instrumentalists in one or more of our three main disciplines - Guitar, Drums or Piano/ Keyboard.

• Share our passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of musicicans

• Hold qualifications in their field of expertise, preferably to degree level

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Have access to their own transport, and be willing to travel within a certain radius of their home

Teaching experience

Previous teaching experience is of course an advantage, but not a pre-requisite as full training can be provided.

Criminal Records Bureau Checks

Many posts that SCAMPS offer involve unsupervised work with children and as such are exempt from the 1974 Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, requiring applicants to give full details of any criminal record, including spent convictions.

Applicants will be required to apply for an enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau, and any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory response from this and reference checks.
